We carry out Thorough Examinations on Statutory and non-Statutory lifting equipment and Plant.
Statutory means required by Law and covers equipment such as;
Lifts require a Thorough Examination every 6 months, on top of maintenance.
Forklifts require a Thorough Examination every 12 months.
Telehandlers (Goods Only) require a Thorough Examination every 12 months or if Man basket duties (persons) 6 months.
Vehicle lifting Tables require a Thorough Examination every 12 months.
Lifting tackle and accessories require a Thorough Examination every 6 months.
Wehave a unique background in the Lift Engineering and Service Engineering sectors.
Having trained as a electrician, then later worked with a Lift Company as a fully qualified Lift fitter.
Having progressed from Installation/ Service Engineer with Mid-Western Lift Services to the role of a Principle Testing & Commissioning Engineer.
We carry the QCF Level 4 Qualification in "Performing and Testing Operations in the Lift and Escalator Industry"
This is the Standard that Engineer Surveyors should have, but most do not.
We have also worked as Engineer Surveyors in RSA Insurance's Engineering Inspection & Consultancy Business, carrying out Examinations for Lifts, lifting plant and machinery and also undertook further training for Electrical Plant and Pressure Systems examinations.
We are qualified to carry out examinations under three different disciplines Lifting, Electrical Plant and Pressure systems.
We are registered members with the Engineering Council, Society of Operations Engineers and Bureau of Engineer Surveyors.
